  1. 1. Manuscript Preparation:

Manuscripts should be prepared in English and submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

Use a clear, concise, and consistent writing style.

GBRMI Citation Style Guide

The Journal of Global Business Review in Management and Innovation (GBRMI) follows the American Psychological Association (APA) citation style for all published articles. Authors are required to adhere to the following guidelines for in-text citations and references.

In-Text Citations:

Single Author:

Use the author's last name and the publication year within parentheses.

Example: (Smith, 2020)

Two Authors:

Include both authors' last names and the publication year.

Example: (Smith & Johnson, 2019)

Three or More Authors:

Use the first author's last name followed by "et al." and the publication year.

Example: (Smith et al., 2018)

Direct Quotations:

Include the author's last name, publication year, and page number for direct quotations.

Example: (Smith, 2017, p. 45)

No Author (Cite the Title):

If there is no author, cite the first few words of the title in quotation marks and the year.

Example: ("Global Business Trends," 2016)

References:

Books:

Author(s). (Year). Title of Book. Publisher.

Example: Smith, J. (2019). The Art of Management. Acme Publishing.

Journal Articles:

Author(s). (Year). Title of the Article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), Page range.

Example: Johnson, M. (2020). Innovations in Business Practices. Journal of Management Studies, 45(2), 123-136.

Websites/Online Sources:

Author(s) or Organization. (Year). Title of Webpage/Document. Website Name. URL.

Example: World Health Organization. (2021). COVID-19: Latest Updates. https://www.who.int/emergencies/disease/novel-coronavirus-2019

Conference Papers:

Author(s). (Year). Title of the Paper. In Title of the Conference Proceedings (pp. Page range). Publisher.

Example: Brown, L. (2018). Sustainable Business Practices. In Proceedings of the International Business Conference (pp. 45-58). Academic Publishing.

Theses/Dissertations:

Author(s). (Year). Title of the Thesis/Dissertation. Institution Name.

Example: Anderson, S. (2017). The Role of Leadership in Organizational Success. University of XYZ.

Notes on Specific Source Types:

For multi-author references, list up to seven authors in the reference list. For eight or more authors, use "et al." after the sixth author's name.

If an article doesn't have a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), provide the URL of the journal's homepage.

Important Reminders:

Ensure consistency in formatting throughout the manuscript.

Double-check references and citations for accuracy.

Use italics for book and journal titles.

Follow APA style guidelines for issues like capitalization, abbreviations, and punctuation.

By following these guidelines, authors can ensure that their citations and references align with GBRMI's preferred APA citation style, creating uniformity across all published articles.

Use 12-point Times New Roman or similar font, with 1.5 line spacing and 1-inch margins.

  1. Title Page:

Include the paper's title, authors' names, affiliations, and email addresses.

Provide a brief abstract (150-250 words) summarizing the paper's main objectives and findings.

List keywords (3-5) to help categorize your paper.

  1. Structure of the Manuscript:

Organize your paper into sections, including Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

Clearly label figures, tables, and appendices.

  1. 4. Length and Formatting:

Research papers typically range from 5,000 to 8,000 words, excluding references and appendices.

Ensure proper formatting of tables, figures, and equations.

Use subheadings to structure content and improve readability.

  1. 5. Citations and References:

Cite all sources accurately and provide a comprehensive list of references at the end of the paper.

Follow a recognized citation style (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago) as per the GBRMI's guidelines.

  1. Originality and Plagiarism:

Submissions must be original works that have not been published elsewhere.

Properly attribute and cite any ideas, data, or text from other sources.

Plagiarism will result in automatic rejection.

  1. Data and Ethical Considerations:

For studies involving human or animal subjects, ensure compliance with ethical standards and obtain necessary approvals.

Maintain data confidentiality and disclose any conflicts of interest.

  1. Peer-Review Process:

Submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process, which may include multiple rounds of revision.

Authors may receive feedback and suggestions from reviewers to improve the quality of the paper.

  1. Cover Letter:

Include a cover letter with your submission, briefly introducing the paper and explaining its significance.

  1. Supplementary Materials:

Appendices, datasets, or supplementary materials can be included to support the paper. Ensure proper references within the main text.
